Prime Corner Going to the Arts?!
At a time when it seems every conceivable corner of Atlanta is getting prepped for apartments, there's one corner off Howell Mill Road that'll get something a little different. Okay, a lot different. An outdoor art gallery. We spoke with Cartel Properties' George Rohrig, who just filed permits with the City of Atlanta for 971 Howell Mill to clear away an old brick building and clean up the site. The site, at the corner of 10th and Howell Mill will then be converted to an open-air art gallery that will feature both local and international artists. “I don't have plans for that corner right now, so I thought this would be cool to do,” he tells us.
