Visions of the Gulch
Curbed Atlanta got the scoop on something quite amazing to see. The Georgia Department of Transportation has produced this seven-minute vision of what The Gulch could eventually look like as a multi-modal passenger terminal—complete with train stops, office buildings, apartment towers, restaurants, shops, and sweeping architecture. (They could've built more dramatic tension... we made popcorn for this.) It's something to see and gives a clear picture of what regional planners intend with the over 100-acre Downtown Atlanta site. We previously reported that Forest City Enterprises—which was part of a JV with Integral Group and Cousins Properties—dropped out as master planner for the project.
