A $140M Mixed-Use Project Targeted For West Midtown
Two developers are targeting a West Midtown parcel near Atlanta's BeltLine for a $140M mixed-use project.
S.J. Collins and Terwilliger Pappas are looking to develop a mixed-use project that would include 342 apartments, 190K SF of loft office, a 140-key boutique hotel and 90K of retail that could include a rooftop restaurant, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.
According to the Business Chronicle, the project, called The Interlock, would sit on a nine-acre industrial site near the intersection of Howell Mill Road and 14th Street. The land is controlled by an affiliate of Georgia Tech called Georgia Advanced Technology Ventures. Earlier this year, the group selected S.J. Collins to lead the site's development.
The project could come before the city for a rezoning vote early next year.
CORRECTION, NOV. 10, 2 P.M. ET: A previous version of the story incorrectly cited a permit filed with the City of Atlanta with The Interlock project. The story has been updated.
