Crown Seeks Regional OK For Goldkist Redo
The first part of a massive overhaul of the former Goldkist HQ site is facing regional planner approval.
Crown Holdings has filed a DRI for a nearly five-acre portion of its 15-acre Goldkist site. The filing is seeking to develop 380 condo units, 43,700 SF of retail and a 150-key hotel. The mega-project, in the works since Crown purchased the site in 2013, is taking its first steps forward with the filing with regional planners.
Recently, the Dunwoody Homeowners' Association gave its blessing for the condominium project (here) at the Crown Towers site. Ultimately, Crown Towers will also include some 2M SF of office.
