AMLI Moving Forward With Multifamily on Roxboro Road
AMLI Residential is stepping up to the plate by moving forward on another Atlanta multifamily project. We got our mitts on land disturbance permits filed by AMLI with the City of Atlanta to get a green light for its 3464 Roxboro Road proposal—a two-building apartment complex totaling 420 units in Buckhead, south of Peachtree Road. It's a project that was announced by AMLI late last year. And it contrasts ALMI's CEO Greg Mutz comments at our last multifamily event here when he said, “If you're not worried about oversupply, you're a moron.” That said, he also predicted that we have another three to five years of gradual rent growth, despite the tremendous supply coming to fruition here.
AMLI's move comes just days after Wood Partners digs in the dirt on its 33 Peachtree Place, a $100M, 369-unit mixed-use apartment complex off West Peachtree Street in Midtown. The project will include 20k SF of retail, and is slated for delivery by mid-2016. It's also in two buildings (one high-rise, one mid-rise), plus officials say it will have a “retro” pool deck (so you can go dancing on the ceiling with Lionel Richie).
