Juniper and 5th Revealed in Watercolor Glory
Atlanta-based Southeast Capital Cos is moving forward on its latest Midtown apartment project. The firm filed permits—and released renderings—with the City of Atlanta to develop a mid-rise, 158-unit complex called Juniper and 5th off Juniper Street, between 4th and 5th streets. It's expected to be vetted by both the Midtown and Piedmont development review committees this week.
On the SEC's website, the company describes Juniper and 5th as a way to "address and amplify the growing enthusiasm and thus demand for more urban, walkable lifestyle" properties. The property will include an elevated pool and a social terrace courtyard, with units averaging 1,140 SF, attracting a "wide demographic spectrum, from empty nesters to Millennials," developers write. The SEC has developed a deep pipeline of multifamily and condo projects in Atlanta, including Block Loft Apartments (here), The Gardens at Lake Spivey and the 27-story Manhattan condo tower in Central Perimeter.
