Neal Golden Reveals Hapeville Redo Look

If the stars align, this is what could be in store for a $500M revamp of a former tract of residential and old commercial land in Hapeville. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank vice chairman Neal Golden unveiled plans for the Asbury Park mixed-use project that he's fronting under his Main Street Partner Group banner during our 2016 Aerotropolis Expansion program this week.

As we previously reported here, Neal has been working with the city on this plan for more than a decade. But of course, redevelopment efforts were tamped down by the Great Recession. Now, given Porsche North America's HQ development and a glut of business interests around Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Neal (here) told our audience of more than 200 attendees that the city is putting the project on the front burner again.
