Choo-choos have been good to Leapley Construction's Carson Pilcher. Carson (second from right) with JLL's Amanda Smith, Colliers International's Drew Levine and TurnerBoone Contract's Ellen Turner (also Caron's wife) were among 600 in Atlanta who turned out for NAIOP's annual gala at the St. Regis in Buckhead. Carson tells us his firm just got a contract to renovate the interior of Norfolk Southern's Atlanta Regional HQ at 1200 Peachtree St. NAIOP Night raised $50k for Yes!Atlanta and another $50k for the Ron Clark Academy last night.
We also chatted up DeKalb Office Environment's Christina Smith, Sealy & Co's Liesel Helms, and Cushman & Wakefield's Laura Stephens during NAIOP Night's cocktail hour. We learned that Laura just renewed her lease on a Lexus. No, not a car. The office lease. She and C&W's Gary Waddell helped the car company renew 33k SF at 11560 Great Oaks Way in Alpharetta (CBRE's Elliott Grand brokered for the landlord, KBS Realty Advisors).
