Invesco Is Looking For A New Headquarters In Atlanta
A global investment firm may be ready for a new headquarters in Atlanta.
Invesco has tapped CBRE in Atlanta to hunt for new headquarters space in Atlanta, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. The investment firm is looking for spreads of roughly 200K SF.
Invesco's current home is at Two Peachtree Pointe, the 300K SF tower in Midtown owned by Dewberry Capital. Invesco made the building its home in 2007 when it relocated its headquarters from London to Atlanta. According to the ABC, Invesco's lease at Two Peachtree Pointe still has several years left on it.
That timing could play to its advantage as a number of developers have started new office projects in Midtown. Invesco is an investor in Hines' T3 creative office project in Atlantic Station.
The company, which manages close to $900B, is the latest scouring Atlanta for a big chunk of office space, joining Capital One, Jones Day, WeWork, Starbucks, an iHub for BlackRock and, most recently, Zillow, which is searching for a 100K SF space for its Zillow Offers division.
