Online Home Improvement Portal Picks Buckhead Tower For New HQ
A web company that matches homeowners to contractors has found its new home in Buckhead.
Networx Systems inked a 21K SF deal at Buckhead Tower, the 19-story, 350K SF tower at Lenox and East Paces Ferry roads. Networx plans to grow rapidly from its 110-employee staff at its office in Roswell.
“As a high-growth company, we needed a space that would accommodate our current employees and allow us to double in size by 2020,” Networx CEO Steve Storch said in a statement.
The lease is a solid win for Buckhead Tower's owner, Parmenter Realty Partners, which purchased the tower in 2012 for nearly $60M from Clarion Partners. Late last year, Parmenter refinanced the tower for an undisclosed sum. At the time, it was more than 70% leased to tenants including Mesa Capital Partners, IWG/Regus, Georgia Bankers Association and the Consulate General of France.
Cushman & Wakefield's April Parrish, Stephen Bellwood, Erin Smith and Kirk Diamond represented Networx, while JLL Executive Vice President Adam Viente and Senior Vice President Jeff Frantz brokered the deal for the landlord.
