United Healthcare in Talks For 2100 RiverEdge
United Healthcare may have found its office alternative after being bumped by Lincoln Financial. And it still has the same name.
Sources tell us United Healthcare is in talks with the owners of 2100 RiverEdge Summit to lease up to 100k SF at the building after Lincoln Financial swooped in and took RiverEdge Summit from the healthcare company. United Healthcare will be moving from Ashford Green, where it uses 100k SF, early next year when its lease expires, sources tell us. In one of the larger economic development deals of the year, Lincoln Financial plans to lease 100k SF at RiverEdge Summit, adding hundreds of jobs to the local economy, as we first reported here.
United Healthcare operates various offices around metro Atlanta, including at Peachtree Dunwoody Pavilion, where it just renewed 57k SF. JLL's Jeff Bellamy brokered the deal with Parkway Properties just before the office REIT sold the four-building, 370k SF park in May to The Simpson Organization, as we previously reported here. United Healthcare was in talks to take the space once operated by Intercontinental Exchange, before it moved out and bought 5660 New Northside Dr for its HQ in 2013.
