Domain Northside To Open With Killer List Of New Tenants
The Domain has a few more tricks up its sleeve. Endeavor Real Estate Group and Northwood Investors have been holding onto the last piece of the Domain pie—the best piece, considering it's right at the entrance of the project—for years, and they're finally ready to open it to the public.
Endeavor will stagger openings of several more shops and restaurants for the final phase of North Austin's 8M SF mixed-use project. The anchor of the 43-acre project, called Domain Northside, will debut in phases on the (you guessed it) north side of the project, closest to Whole Foods. Last week, the 173-room Archer Hotel opened, complete with another location of the delicious Second Bar + Kitchen.
On Sept. 30, Domain Northside will open 128k SF of anchor space occupied by Nordstrom and a Restoration Hardware concept called RH Austin, The Gallery At The Domain (pictured).
Endeavor prioritized finding both down-home favorites and national brands. On the national side, users will soon have SoulCycle, Sephora, Planet Blue, Sprinkles (yes, with a cupcake ATM), Sur La Table, Saint Bernard, Culinary Dropout (you know, from Fox Restaurant Concepts), Paul Martin’s Austin Grill, Bonobos, Warby Parker, Design Within Reach, Flower Child and more.
Local flavor includes Eliza Page, Teddies for Bettys, East Side King, Viva Day Spa, The Dogwood, Sway, Birds Barbershop, Salvation Pizza and W3ll People.
"We've attracted best-in-class of local Austin and best-in-class of national emerging brands," Endeavor principal Ben Bufkin tells us.
As for the Domain's impact on the growing city, Ben says it's an answer for responsible growth. This project has brought jobs and offices to North Austin and created a major reason for Austinites to ride the rail system north.
