Prairie View A&M Digs New Ag/Biz Building
Is it irony or kismet that dirt was turning on Prairie View A&M University’s new agriculture and business building? The four-story 96k SF building will house the university’s College of Agriculture and Human Sciences and the College of Business in a single facility. Overland Partners designed the state-of-the-art facility to provide long-term growth potential and serve as a recruitment tool for both colleges. The building will be open for the fall 2015 semester and will include a 400-seat auditorium and student lounge, and will be home to the campus’ first clock-bell tower. Other project team members include The Linbeck Group (general contractor) and Studio 8 Architects (interior design).
