AIN'T NOTHIN' WRONG WITH THAT
Ed Levin on Feb. 16, 2012
Our title could refer to that stylish bowtie, but we're talking about the proverbial kicking of the can down the road. Gordon Feinblatt's Ed Levin (in his office this morning) tells us foreclosures and workouts have come nowhere near the early '90s level, when bankruptcy was all the rage. Despite the stigma, he doesn't think today's extend-and-pretend is a bad thing. When you buy time, "your lottery number could come up," he says. Greece's problems could resolve, you could discover uranium on your property, Bloomingdale's could open next door, or even better, it could lease from you. Ed is moderating our Baltimore County event on Feb. 29 and plans to ask the panel about development opps, the hottest property type, and a bit about Owings Mills: How much of a good thing is too much? Is there room for everything that's already on the drawing board? Will current plans spawn even more? Sign up now to find out!
