While most forms of social media are primarily for getting your word out, Llenrock Group managing partner Andrew Benioff (snapped outside his home in Narberth, Penn.) tells us blogs go a step beyond. He started his firm's blog in 2008 so the startup CRE advisory and investment banking firm would be seen as experts. Other benefits: It builds brand awareness and drives business. The blog regularly captures 500 to 800 people per day and Andrew says he uses all other social media to drive people to the blog. He tells us ?there's plenty of serious stuff out there,? so the blog is light and irreverent. It publishes daily, including a weekend review on Saturday summing up the week?s biggest headlines. Llenrock has a full-time blogger on staff and others (including Andrew) contribute. |
