Developers To Add More Seniors Housing At Memorial Stadium Site

After five years of silence, ground will move again soon at the master-planned redevelopment of the old Memorial Stadium site. Presbyterian Senior Living has joined Stadium Place master developer GEDCO to add 36 market-rate, independent-living apartments called Heritage Run at Stadium Place to GEDCO's 350 seniors housing units there. (Cal Ripken used to play there; now he can live there.)Among the execs from the non-profit at Tuesday's commemorative beam signing were Diane Burfeindt and Rodney Fenstermacher, who tells us construction will begin in April after final approvals and deliver in January '14. Presbyterian Senior Living will own 75% of the building; it also owns and operates Glen Meadows retirement community in Glen Arm.
