FOUNDRY ROW LEASING BEST YET
Brian Gibbons and Tom Fitzpatrick
Yesterday, Greenberg Gibbons CEO Brian Gibbons (with COO Tom Fitzpatrick), another of our Baltimore County Summit panelists, told us leasing momentum at Owings Mills' Foundry Row is stronger than Annapolis (opened October '08) and Waugh Chapel (to open in March) Towne Centres were at this stage. With Wegmans signed to anchor, Greenberg Gibbons is negotiating LOIs on the rest of Foundry Row's anchor space (85k SF)and has plenty of interest in shop space, he says. Over at the firm's other Baltimore County property,Hunt Valley Towne Centre, GG is tossing around the idea of adding uses to the fully leased retail—possibly a couple hundred apartments and maybe a hotel. It's also planning retail redevelopment of the old Walmart parcel.
