HOUSING SALES... YAY!
Morgan Gilligan, Tony Foreman, and Terry Anne Hearne at Pazo, Fells Point
Stewart Title Co's Morgan Gilligan (with Foreman Wolf Restaurants co-owner Tony Foreman and Commercial Settlement Services'Terry Anne Hearn) tells us acquisitions and refinancing remain robust in Baltimore. According to his company's book of business, residential resales are strong, and new home sales—trending upward now—should see a strong spring. He and Terry Anne are vice chairs for ULI Baltimore's fourth annual WaveMaker awards, being held on Oct. 25 at Tony's Pazo in Harbor East. Terry Anne tells us "a very special Baltimorean" will win this year's Lifetime Achievement award. More info here: www.wavemakerawards.org.
Cinghiale Harbor East
Tony—who also owns Charleston and Cinghiale (above) in Harbor East—tells us the other restaurants there help business, though he hopes the area doesn't get overbuilt, which would create too much traffic for the infrastructure. His company also owns Petit Louis Bistro in northern Baltimore and is opening another restaurant there this fall.
