MAPLE LAWN GETS HOTEL

| Remember the JV between Greenebaum & Rose and St. John Properties we told you about in May? Yesterday it announced a new 130- to 140-key hotel is coming to Maple Lawn in Howard County, which already has three office buildings totaling 285k SF. Greenebaum & Rose?s Stewart Greenebaum says the hospitality sector in the B-W Corridor is underserved, especially when you consider all the overnight trips and conferences generated by draws like the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. The hotel is scheduled to open in Fall 2012 (an operator will be named soon). |
