NEW MIXED-USE SHERRIFF IN TOWN
December 22, 2011
With "president" added to his title, Greenberg Gibbons COO Tom Fitzpatrick's will be running the show on developments and acquisitions. And more of those should be coming since CEO Brian Gibbons will have more time to hatch new projects (not to mention more time to plan surprise parties and world domination). |
Brian (left) became chairman and CEO in October 2010, and now Tom moves from EVP to president, retaining his COO title (kinda like boxing titles... without the head hits). So what does the mixed-use firm already have in the works? Tom tells us Annapolis Towne Center—which opened in '08—is 95% occupied. Waugh Chapel Towne Center will open in April with a Target and a Dick's, followed by a Regal movie theater in the summer and a Wegmans in the fall. The 100k SF Turf Valley Towne Center in Howard County (with a Harris Teeter) will break ground in spring. The rezoning that'll allowFoundry Row in Owings Mills to move forward should be complete in October. And demolition and redevelopment at Laurel Mall could also get underway next year. |
