SPIRIT OF THE SEASON
December 21, 2010
At NAIOP's holiday luncheon at Martin?s West Friday, Mackenzie?s Meghan Gill and COPT?s Cathy Ward celebrated with 400 others (including Adelberg Rudow?s David Applefeld, who must've forgotten his red shirt). We found out Hollywood?s got some competition in Baltimore: MacKenzie, Manekin, Merritt Properties, and St. John Properties all directed videos for the event. Our favorite gags were based on Beyonce?s ?All the Single Ladies? and The Office. |
Outgoing Howard County Economic Development president Dick Story, pictured here with Cushman's Joe Casey and CoStar's Kristen Joy, was master of ceremonies. Joe, who's retiring soon, was honored for his 45-year career in commercial real estate. |
Speaking of Cushman, here's the team last week volunteering at the Maryland Food Bank. This is the third year Bob Millhauser has coordinated the event, with C&W packing over 13,000 lbs of food (which translates to nearly 11,000 meals). The Food Bank provided Marylanders with 18.6 million lbs of food last year; visit their website to donate. |
We couldn't resist including this shot of MacKenzie chairman Clark MacKenzie and CEO Gary Gill at their office party. Clark?s vest is officially on our list to Santa, along with more liquid credit markets and a spike in leasing activity. |
