The Carroll County project is the region's latest makerspace. The Foundery is set to open in June at Port Covington's City Garage. The new location will be 10 times the size its original spot on Central Avenue.

And BARCO is developing the two-story $11M makerspace Open Works in The Station North Arts District, slated to open in the fall. It recently announced its first member and partner, Baltimore 3D printing company Jimmi.
