Kevin Plank Unveils Sweeping Plans For Port Covington
Yesterday, Kevin Plank’s real estate company, Sagamore Development, unveiled its sweeping vision for transforming 266 acres at Port Covington into a bustling waterfront destination teeming with offices, shops, restaurants and parks. The largely neglected area of South Baltimore will also be home to the new HQ of Plank’s Under Armour and his new whiskey distillery, The Baltimore Sun reports. Other parts of the development would include residences with pedestrian-friendly streets and parks. Sagamore also hopes to add new water taxi stops and a light rail stop to entice visitors to go car-free. [Sun]
