Rare Massive B-W Corridor Warehouse
The rehauled massive former Giant warehouse's $500k in improvements in Jessup debuted yesterday. The owners and brokers—Mosaic Realty Partners’ Eron Sodie and Isaac Pretter, C&W’s Michael Kimmel and Michael Elardo, and C&W’s Jared Ross—hosted a broker lunch in Mosaic and New York Life’s 775k SF 7600 Assateague Dr, now called Baltimore-Washington Logistics Center. It’s so big the catering truck just drove right on in. Michael Elardo tells us three national companies have expressed interest in 200k to 400k SF each. The market favors landlords, he says, considering a lack of functional warehouse space over 200k SF and no spec construction.
It’s also big enough for a friendly game of hoops. Here’s Isaac with the winners of the event's free-throw competition: Cassidy Turley’s Kevin Greaney, Blue & Obrecht’s Ryan Engles, and Lee & Associates’ Marley Welsh, and New York Life’s Jeff Perpich. Marley proved that height does indeed matter in basketball, placing third among 50, high heels and all. In the 12 months since acquiring this property, Mosaic has acquired three others for $60M, including Elkridge Corners and Hagerstown’s Valley Park Commons. It's also been underwriting retail, office, and industrial possibilities.
