Archdiocese Of Baltimore Sells Catholic Review Building In Mount Vernon
The Archdiocese of Baltimore has sold a Mount Vernon office building occupied by one of its publications.
The Catholic Review occupied office space at 880 Park Ave., but it will move out now that the building has been purchased by Jabber Five Real Estate Group and Day Capital. The three-story building contains 15K SF of offices on the second and third floors and a 7K SF parking garage on the first floor.
Jabber Five and Day Capital purchased the property, which Jabber Five President Brad Shapiro called "a landmark asset in the city's most protected neighborhood," for $1.5M. Mount Vernon is Baltimore's Arts & Cultural District, an area with precious little new development.
BB&T Bank provided financing for the purchase, and leasing will be handled by the NAI/KLNB Office and Industrial Group.
