Redeveloped Lion Brothers Building Getting New Tenant Next Month
Cross Street Partners' newest tenant in the $12M redevelopment of the historic Lion Brothers Building in southwest Baltimore will move in in January.
Baltimore Community Lending will lease 3,449 SF, the Baltimore Business Journal reports. The financial institution will lease the third floor of the late-1800s building, which the developer has restored to include refinished wood floors, original metal fire doors and other historic details. BCL provides financing for affordable housing, community commercial facilities and mixed-used developments in underserved Baltimore neighborhoods.
The three-story, 38k SF office building began construction in April and is almost fully leased. Enterprise Homes and the University of Maryland Baltimore County are the other anchor tenants. [BBJ]
