Soon after breaking ground, Beatty Development Group's fourth building at Harbor Point has signed its first lease.

London-based digital marketing agency Jellyfish has agreed to a 35K SF lease at Wills Wharf, a 12-story, 330K SF office building scheduled to deliver next year. The company will occupy the entirety of the sixth floor. Office will take up floors two through seven, with the ground floor dedicated to retail and an office lobby and the top four floors slated to become a 156-room Canopy by Hilton hotel.

Ryan Miller and George Santos of Savills Studley represented Jellyfish in the transaction, and Beatty was represented by Antony Gross, Rob Freeman and Peter Jackson of JLL. Jellyfish will be moving 140 employees from its offices at 250 President St., just inland of Harbor Point in Harbor East, in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Beatty broke ground on Wills Wharf in June after a year of delays, continuing its progress on what will be a 27-acre, $1.5B complex at full build-out, estimated for 2022. Wills Wharf alone is projected to cost $117M, and kicked off without an anchor tenant announced. Representatives from Beatty told Bisnow that the start of the construction was contingent on hitting a leasing benchmark.
