Chuy’s Searching in Baltimore
Family-friendly Tex-Mex chain Chuy’s is following up three DC-area locations with a search in Baltimore, says H&R Retail’s Geoff Mackler, whose firm reps the restaurant. The Austin-based restaurant entered the Mid-Atlantic via Richmond, and then Geoff’s team brought it to three NoVa locations: Fairfax, Springfield Town Center, and Cascade Overlook in Sterling.
Geoff also expects to sign three deals in the Baltimore area by next month for athletic show purveyor Shoe City, which would bring its store count to 38. (Finally we can grind our kick game.) H&R also is marketing two Caves Valley projects: the $250M, mixed-use Towson Row (rendered above) and Towson’s old fire station at York Road and Bosley Avenue.
