Established North Carolina Architect Launches New Firm

BISWIRE/March 7, 2024 - John Kincheloe, AIA, has formed a new architecture and design firm, Kincheloe Design Group (KDG). Based in Charlotte, N.C., KDG will offer architecture and interior architecture design services for commercial projects across the Carolinas and beyond.

Kincheloe is known for his corporate commercial design work, including workplace, healthcare and hospitality projects for brands such as CEENTA, Novant, Meadows & Ohly, Davis Moore Capital, Carmel Country Club and the Charlotte Rescue Mission, including the popular Community Matters Café in Uptown Charlotte.

“I’ve spent the last 24 years in a large firm setting, and it has been an amazing way to recognize the importance of relationships and to build a portfolio of projects that I am proud to have led,” Kincheloe said. “My passion has always been designing, while building personal relationships with my clients. Forming my own firm puts me closer to those things that I love.”
