BISWIRE/Feb. 24, 2025 — Wolfson BTR, the first large-scale build-to-rent (BTR) developer in Florida and a pioneer in the Southeastern USA, is pleased to announce the closing of a $62.0MM bridge facility from Genesis Capital for the lease-up and stabilization of a 214-unit BTR community in Kissimmee, FL, known as Encanto Isla. The bridge facility will be advanced in multiple tranches as construction is completed on individual units.
This project underscores Wolfson BTR’s commitment to addressing the multi-generational challenges caused by the persistent undersupply in the housing market. The development spans two non-contiguous sites located within walking distance of each other. The 25-acre project features three- and four-bedroom townhomes with attached garages and private backyards, allowing for a living experience that rivals that of any purchased starter home. The project also features Class-A amenities which emphasize Wolfson’s commitment to resident experience and quality of life, all at asking rents substantially below the monthly cost to own a home.
