A Happy Newton Mayor

On Monday evening, B?nai B?rith Housing New England E.D.Susan Gittelman dropped off a $300k holiday check to Mayor Setti Warren to repay the City for Community Preservation Fund money it gave the non-profit to develop 33Comm. The 57-unit housing development in Chestnut Hill includes 15 affordable units. Also on hand: community preservation committee chair Nancy Grissom, BBH NE board of directors president Marvin Siflinger, and BBH NE Real Estate Council chair Ed Zuker. BBH NE also repaid the State $300k of the $750k it threw into the pot. |
