Are There Enough Beds for Thinking Heads?
Providing adequate housing for Boston's huge student contingent (and having ample pizza available) is always a challenge for the schools--a cause of community concern and the topic of Bisnow's third Annual Student Housing Summit on Dec. 17 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. BU, which last year completed a $33M, 208-bed, apartment-style residence hall on its medical campus, isn't planning any new construction, according to executive director of auxiliary services Marc Robillard, who will be a panelist. Instead, it will renovate some of the 138 small brownstones that it owns around Kenmore Square. To hear more from Marc and the other experts, register here.
