Cancer Answers at MIT
August 18, 2010
We snapped the nearly completed $211M Koch Cancer Center at MIT. At 300k SF, it's not only one of the largest buildings under construction in metro area, it's designed to develop new technology that will help tame cancer by changing how the disease is detected and managed, says its executive director Robert Urban. By December when all of the faculty move in, engineers and scientists will have spaces designed to bring them together to enhance their collaboration. All that's left on construction is some landscaping, painting, carpeting, and installation of equipment like MRIs. |
