| We also snapped Goulston & Storrs co-managing director Doug Husid—another great sponsor—who moderated our second panel on development. He took a little time off from advising busy area developers including Harvard, MIT and Samuels & Associates to lead a lively discussion on issues like: can the multifamily boom lead us out of recession and how many new units can Boston absorb? The answer from one developer: eventually, the area will absorb all of the 6,000 units in construction and development. The market may get saturated for a while but will bounce back. |
