Emerson Capitalizing on Downtown Growth

Emerson AVP for government and community relations Peggy Ings (pictured, with her daughter) has seen "astounding growth" downtown since the pioneering college moved there from Back Bay in the '90s. That's why we're excited to be holding our annual Bisnow Future of Downtown event on Aug. 13 at the Hyatt Regency Boston, where Peggy will be discussing the school's plans—including building a 340-room residence hall—as it follows the success of downtown's retail and residential (Millennium Place, for one, sold out in a heartbeat, she says).
