FIDELITY NATIONAL TITLE'S NEW TEAM
August 23, 2011
Here are the newbies: attorney Natalie Bray, managing director and counsel Joseph Sarno, and AVP Deborah Bayha (showing off a rendering of a big witch's hat for Halloween) and they'll no doubt earn their keep: in a 381-year-old city like Boston, titles can get complicated. Sometimes property lines were drawn along a stone wall next to a tree that no longer exists. But it's critical to get the lines right so developers can be properly insured and lenders are assured that new projects can be built without legal complications. |
Joe, for one, has had plenty of experience with Boston development complexity. He and his team worked on the 1.1M SF Vertex deal, the sale of the John Hancock Tower, the development of the Seaport Hotel, the World Trade Center's Pier 5, Atlantic Wharf and the Tea Party Ship and Museum now under construction in Fort Point Channel. Working on the waterfront, there is more than archaic land boundaries to consider. There are also air rights related to nearby Logan Airport and public rights to tidelands. Joe's team provides the assurance that limitations discovered in a title search won't obstruct the development of a project. |
