Fall Harvest
Building Impact volunteers
On Saturday, 9/11, this group from Spagnolo Gisness joined dozens of other Building Impact volunteers from TRO Jung|Brannen, Nitsch Engineering, and Tsoi Kobus on the National Day of Service. They descended on four sites around Greater Boston: Gaining Ground in Concord, Waltham Fields Community Farm in Waltham, The Food Project in Roxbury, and the Pope John Paul II Park in Dorchester, with the Boston Natural Areas Network. Spagnolo Gisness? 18 people spent the day in Concord. They weeded a blueberry patch, organized and cleaned out the sugar shack to get ready for maple sugar season, moved the squash to a safe location, and harvested leeks with machetes.
