Fenway's $240M Overhaul
December 20, 2011
Walsh CEO Richard Walsh (suit) and his crew gave us a tour last spring of the 10-year, $240M renovation plan they helped complete at Fenway Park, just in time for next year?s centennialbash. They tore up the concourse, installed new drainage, water, gas and fire protection, new HD tote boards, seating, exec offices and luxury boxes. Only able to work off-season—and never knowing exactly when the baseball season will end—these construction projects are carried out with military precision. And,don't ever step on the playing field, that's sacrilege. |
