| You may ask, why the banners of runners in Peabody Office Furniture?s window at 234 Congress St? After all, the desk, chair, and filing cabinet dealer isn't now offering Nike. But as Back on My Feet?s Shannon Varney, Bridget Horne, and Victor Acosta would explain, for the summer Peabody donated its window space to the non-profit, which promotes running among the homeless as a way to build a sense of camaraderie, strength, self-esteem, and confidence.Back on My Feet beneficiaries run three times a week and sometimes raise money for the non-profit.
