HARVARD TO REVIVE ALLSTON PROJECT
June 21, 2011
National Development managing partner Ted Tye is among the local CRE heavyweights who says he would ?enjoy the challenge? of being part of Harvard?s push to restart its Allston development plan that includes a new $1B, 2.5M SF, 36-acre research and mixed-use complex. (Others mentioned as having more than a passing interest in getting onboard include Boston Properties'Mort Zuckerman and Skanska AB?s Mike Pascavage.) In late '09, Harvard announced that it would halt construction on its in-house effort to develop a multibillion dollar rival to Kendall Square. Now, it says, it hopes to revive the project with outside, private developers. |
