Multifamily is blazing in Boston, with mixed-use, five-star, amenity-loaded wonderlands. Our sponsors at CBT Architects (Alfred Wojciechowski, Kathy McMahon, Cheryl Wolfe, and Joe Bettencourt) are making things happen throughout New Englandand as far away as Abu Dhabi—where the nearly 1M SF Marasy development is rising from a former industrial wasteland. Kathy says the firm applied similar innovation stateside for its 1.2M SFAtlantic Wharf mixed-use project on Fort Point Channel. It's also replacing the Charlesview Apartments in Allston with single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments. Weaving into the urban landscape is its 590k SF Liberty Mutual HQ building, and interior design for a 280k office for MFS. Meanwhile, half of the firm's work is in academia, including the seven-restaurant, 90-bed Maple Street Station at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
