King Street Expanding Campus
What to do when you almost have the largest multi-tenant life sciences campus in the 'burbs? Do more leasing so you can get another building out of the ground. (Almost only counts in horseshoes and seasoning Mexican food.)
King Street principal Tom Ragno tells us that he and partner Steve Lynch have big plans for the three-building, 180k SF campus on Hartwell Avenue in Lexington. This year, they've inked leases at 4 Hartwell Pl with Sekisui Diagnostics (20k SF) and SynapDx (10k SF). We intend to construct a fourth building of about 100k SF, he says. Elsewhere, King Street is bringing 733 Concord Ave in Fresh Pond to market, which Tom says has 42k SF of lab space and a new building skin. He expects to attract a tenant from Kendall that's outgrown its space and is ready for a building of its own.
