At Bisnow's upcoming Boston Student Housing Summit, MIT director of campus planning Pam Delphenic will discuss the more than 1,800 new beds it has added during the last decade, when it spent more than $1B and grew by 25%. Now, the Institute plans to spend at least another $1B on its Capital Renewal program to renovate existing academic and research buildings as well as housing for the approximately 6,000 undergrad and grad students who live on the Cambridge campus.
