| When one restaurant moved out of 10k SF at Fanueil Hall another,Anthem Kitchen + Bar, moved in. (We guess it's hard to find another use for an industrial sized refrigerator.) We hear many are happy that it's not a national chain. JLL?s Jim Koury says FH is a unique submarket with a special shopping experience that helped it maintain 95% occupancy during the recession, better than Downtown Crossing and on par with the tony Back Bay. Average FH rents, $50-$90 PSF, place it between the two other shopping districts. At last week?s ribbon cutting: Mayor Thomas M. Menino,Faneuil Hall performers Magic Dave, and Rosie the Riveter (holding the ribbon) and owners Mary O'Connor, Austin O?Connor Jr., Austin O?Connor Sr., Peggy O'Connor and Sheila Taylor. |
