| NAIOP Mass?s David Begelfer, shown here before his week in Cancun, is now "trying not to show off my tan." But it's good he got an energy boost, with serious work ahead. The former developer, broker, and longtime NAIOP CEO is doing his bit to help ease the effects of the downturn. He's working the State House to pass a permit extension act, so projects idled by the recession can retain already won approvals. If the law passes, when conditions are right, developers could get shovels in the ground quickly. David says chances of passage are ?encouraging; I?ll give myself 50/50.? |
