| Things are moving again in Cali. In LA, we stopped by the downtown office of Jones Lang LaSalle, where we snapped SoCal/Arizona/ Nevada chief Jan Pope, third from left, enveloped by colleagues Anthony Gatti, Jeff Adkison, Tim O?Rourke, Tess Peterson, and Alan Aufhammer. JLL has been a giant in downtown tenant rep work the last 12 months, completing over 650k SF of leasing, including five multi-floor transactions. It's even helped sell two buildings recently you see out their windows:Union Bank (on the left) for $208 million from Hines to KBS (plus arranging $119 million in senior debt financing), and the downtown Marriott (between Tess and Alan on the right) for $63 million from Leeward Strategic Properties to Shenzhen New World Group out of China. |
