Sox’ New Neighbor
May 10, 2010
On Thursday, Meredith Management's John Rosenthal (right) spoke before a NEWiRE crowd lunching at the Four Seasons about his 1.3M SF Fenway Center. We snapped him entering the dining room with Meredith's Sydney Rosenthal (John's Dad) and Skanska's Laura Onessimo. Sid was instrumental in making Fenway Center happen. He brought John into the business in '83 by agreeing John could work half time on his causes—ending homelessness, stopping handgun violence and promoting alternative energy—while campaigning against nuclear power. Given the success John's had with decreasing homelessness and gun violence, he has some grateful friends in City Hall, where getting big real estate projects approved can be daunting. John says the $170M Phase I will start this summer. |
Some Newire ladies we snapped: Saint James? Lisa Don Francesco, Walsh Companies? Christine Multari, Cleanco Maintenance's Ceil Good, Leggat McCall's Christine Stone and CBRE's Kerry Olson. Christine Stone has a special name tag that sports a golf ball to promote a Newire charity event. On September 20th, it will host a golf tournament at Wallaston Golf Club, Milton to raise money for a new charity, the Newire Educational Fun that gives scholarships to women in college and graduate school pursuing studies that will lead to a career in CRE. |
