TENANT OF TENANTS
April 14, 2010
Cambridge Innovation Center's Tim Rowe is the kind of tenant every landlord wants; CIC is growing and fitting up expansion space at MIT?s One Broadway. Soon, it'll occupy 140k SF and its 61k SF of added space will allow it to house another 200 innovation and start-up companies, boosting its roster to about 450. Tim (whom we snapped at CBRE's breakfast last week) says that while some sectors of the economy are dragging, ?innovation and startup formation accelerates during a recession, when lots of talented people are no longer with big companies.? Tim?s tenants cover the spectrum, from solar energy to healthcare therapies and Internet search firms. |
