| He may not have a cowboy hat or boots, but on Monday Bret Wilkerson landed in Austin as a managing director at Hawkeye Partners. Earlier this year, Bret surprised lots of CRE folks by leaving PPR where he?d been since ?95, and served as CEO from ?04 through '09. Hawkeye, a real estate private equity firm advising large pension funds, uses its capital to find, train, and support the next generation of investment managers. |
