WOULDN'T THINK OF TREADING ON YOU

Speaking of preservation, it's no coincidence that Boston Properties, developer of one of the most ambitious CRE projects now under construction in the city, is going to great pains to build a mixed-use complex that wraps itself around and through (without demolishing) three historic waterfront buildings. Atlantic Wharf, nearly a decade in the making, will cost about $400M for: a 31-story,750k SF office designed to qualify for LEED Gold; 80-85 residences; a 650-car garage; and a plaza facing the harbor. Now, work on the exterior curtain wall and excavation of the six-story underground garage is almost complete. |
